Ahoy Captain Cats here and we are going to look at some of the biggest things that happen during this year’s edition of DC FanDome!

Comics

Milestone Media
Milestone Media is going to have a great year in 2022 with a grand return with new seasons of all of their comic series and with a 1,300 compendium softcover book! Not only that but it was also announced that there will be an animated film based on the characters from Milestone and I for one can’t wait!

Monkey Prince Return
DC also announced that their Monkey Prince will have a twelve-issue series starting in February of next year and the creative team is Gene Luen Yang and Bernard Chang.

Wonder Woman
This year is Wonder Woman’s 80th anniversary and DC will have the 80th-anniversary issue out by Wonder Woman day, which is October 21 of this year. It was also announced that there will be a massive crossover event entitled Wonder Woman: Trial of the Amazons and will start with Nubia & The Amazons #1 on October 19 of this year.

Films

Black Adam
Look at the first look here and be hype by this!

The Flash
We finally are going to see The Flash and with a cameo or two from other characters from DC past and if the rumors are true that this will reboot the DCU movie universe that I’m all for it.

Blue Beetle
Yes, you are reading this we are getting a Blue Bettle film!

Batgirl
YES! YES! YES!

Shazam! Fury of the Gods
We saw a glimpse of the upcoming Shazam film and it looks awesome.

The Batman
Words can’t do this trailer justice so here go and watch it!

TV

There is so much for TV here. From Peacemaker, Sweet Tooth, The Sandman, Batwoman, Catwoman, Supergirl final season, Naomi, Harley Quinn season 3, and Batman: Caped Crusader, DC is looking to have a hell of a year on the small screen in 2022.

Video games

Both Gotham Knights and The Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League look great and I can’t wait to play them booth I think they missed a huge opportunity to announced the said rumor of Injustice 3 is in the works.

DC FanDome did everything that made last year better and more. This event has now set the standard of how to make announcements in this day and age of technology. I honestly hope they can keep this going for many more years to come.
