Ahoy Captain Cats here and today we are going to talk about the re-emergence of a lost cancel Castlevania game and that game is Castlevania Resurrection.

In case you don’t know about this game or never heard of this game I got you covered. The game was in development for the Sega Dreamcast but was canceled in 2000 and the game world has introduced the return of Sonia Belmont. The game story would have introduced Victor Belmont and time travel to 1666, a good 25 years before the events of the first Castlevania game.

It was also rumored that Konami took what they were doing on this game and used it to create the 2003 Castlevania game Lament of Innocence and introduce the founder of the Belmont Clan, Leon Belmont. Now that you are caught up with the game mini-history, if you have a Dreamcast you can play the unfinished E3 demo with that thanks of the Sega Dreamcast Info Preservation Games you can play this unfinished demo with steps on how to get it to work and such and see what could have been for Sonia Belmont in this canceled game. I’ll let you know what I think of this game if I can get it to work on my Dreamcast.
