Ahoy me mateys Captain Cats here!NYCC 2018 has a lot of news coming out for TV so let get to it.
- Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina made a surprising screening of the first episode. According to CNET they showed the first episode and had a panel after that, which was a surprise for everyone who was there for the panel. Netflix also revealed a new trailer for Sabrina, and it looks great.
- Netflix also surprises everyone with a preview of its new show ‘The Umbrella Academy.’ EW reports that during the “Netflix and Chill” panel they showed a preview of who was going to be in this adaptation of the comic of the same name.
- DC Comic’s DCU made huge news announcements at NYCC. First, they gave a layout of what’s coming out for DCU, while Titans is the only show coming out this year, all of next year they will be filled with so much original content. Also, Deadline reported that DC renewed Titans for a second season before the series premiere.
- Amazon announced that Simon Pegg will join its superhero drama ‘The Boys.’ The Hollywood Reporter that Pegg will be a guest star for the first season.
