Ahoy Captain Cats here and today we talk about E3 and for good reason.

According to a statement by The Entertainment Software Association or ESA for short to VentureBeat that this year E3 will be an online-only event once again. Here is the reason they made this choice:

“Due to the ongoing health risks surrounding COVID-19 and its potential impact on the safety of exhibitors and attendees, E3 will not be held in person in 2022. We remain incredibly excited about the future of E3 and look forward to announcing more details soon.” – The Entertainment Software Association

While E3 is being the first to do this, while other events such as CES that just happen last week still went on with the event in person. CES drew a lot of heat for not either canceling the event or moving it online or another date. We will keep you up to date on this and see when are the online dates for E3.
