This year’s edition of the Fuji Rock Festival takes place at the Naeba Ski Resort, Yuzawa-cho, Niigata Prefecture in Japan. The event has an updated Line Up page with some special performers listed. The Festival takes place July 26 to July 28.
Headlining for Friday on the Green Stage is The Killers while Sunday’s headliner for the same stage will be Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds. The surprise is that Saturday’s headlining band will be the legendary German electronic band KraftWerk!
There are MANY bands and performances this year spread over 11 stages/venues at the ski resort. You can access this information here on this link for detailed information on the bands and so forth.
The best part of the Fuji Rock Festival is that it can be broadcasted on YouTube for free! But be careful! If you want to hear specific bands or see specific venues you have t take into account the time difference from the US to Japan; it is a 16 hour time difference. For example, Monday night 8:30 pm in California is Tuesday 12:30 pm in Japan.
