It is that time again as the San Diego Comic-Con International has released the 2025 Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards nominations and this year is no different like any other year. Fantagraphics is this year’s top leader with 24 nominations, followed by DC with 10, First Second/Macmillan and Abrams with 7, pantheon with 6, Image Comics and Boom have 5, and 43 other companies has 1 nomination.
Tom King once again leads the individual nominations with 4, 10 other creators tie with 3 nominations and 9 others have 2 nominations.
In the manga category, Ashita no Joe: Fighting for Tomorrow, one of the most important manga has been nominated for best manga but Hereditary Triangle, Kagurabachi, Last Quarter, Search and Destroy, and Tokyo These Days are on their path to taking home this prize.
The Eisner Awards will take place during Comic-Con on July 25 and we will be there and let you who won.
