Todd McFarlane To Create A Shared Image Comic Universe

Ahoy Captain Cats here and today we have some news coming from Image Comics.

According to a press release by Image Comics, Todd McFarlane announced that in 2021 he will try to create a shared universe within Image Comic ala Marvel and DC Comics. McFarlane also announced that four new titles will be released in 2021 and three of them will be on a regular monthly release. McFarlane had this to say about doing this:

“The simple question is this: DC Comics started a shared universe in the late 1930s. Marvel Comics began theirs in the early 1960s… so, can lightning strike a third time beginning in 2021? I personally do not have the answer to that question right now, but the only way to get an answer to that question is to make the attempt in the first place” – Todd McFarlane

In June Spawn Universe#1 will be out and in August King Spawn#1 will be out as well but as a monthly release. Well all of us here want to wish McFarlane and Image Comic the best of luck with this new venture.
