CD Projekt Red Hacked and Source Code Taken

Ahoy Captain Cats here and today some news about what happened at CD Projekt Red this time.

According to numerous media sources, it looks like CD Projekt Red (CDPR for short) was hit with a ransomware attack, and was said that the source codes for games like The Witcher 3, Gwent, and Cyberpunk 2077 were taken by hackers who launched the ransomware attack on CDPR. It is also stated that the hackers have claimed to have sold the source codes already but it wasn’t said for how much.

Things are not looking so good right now at CDPR, with Cyberpunk 2077 still getting tons of new problems with each patch, massive refunds, and now this, 2021 isn’t looking so good for CDPR. Once we hear more about this situation we will let you know.
