Ahoy Captain Cats here and today we have some Cyberpunk 2077 news, some good and some bad.
First the bad news, according to CD Projekt Red themselves they decided to move the release date again from September 17 to now November 19 of this year. The reason for the change of release date is they need some extra time to make sure that the game is 100% ready on release, which means making sure the game is balanced and fixing any bugs as well. They also stated that the game is all finished and that journalists from all over the world will be able to start playing the game (via invite I guess) and after the Night City Wire which airs this Thursday the 25, they can release previews and such about the game.
The good news out of this is that CD Projekt Red confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 will be backward compatible for both PS5 and Xbox Series X. They stated that on a later date they will talk about this more and how one can take advantage of this.
While we don’t have any access to try out the game, we will do a full breakdown of what is going to happen right after the Night City Wire.
