War, war never changes and in the case of the Fallout TV series, it set the new bar for video game adaptations and in general any live-action adaptation of any IP, and the last show that set that bar was Doom Patrol.

The series is based on the RPG video game of the same name and is canon to the video game series lore. The series takes place in 2296 and in the lore timeline it is 11 years after the events of Fallout 4 we follow a vault dweller named Lucy from Vault 33, who sets out to the wasteland to find her father after a raid on her vault and he was taken. On her quest, she meets a Brotherhood of Steel squire named Maximus and a cowboy ghoul, and at the end of the season, it begs the question, what to do next?

Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, and Walton Goggins took this series to a whole new level and set the bar high for when we ever get to see Fallout 5 released. The supporting cast, setting, gear, weapons, very dark humor, music, and everything that makes the game series so beloved was on full display and it was a sight for sore eyes.

Fallout is THE show to beat this year hands down and I hope we do get a season 2 or better yet a return to New Vagas. Fallout is out now and on Amazon Prime.
