2008 was the year the gaming world was introduced to Dead Space, a sci-fi survival horror game that was a HUGE breath of fresh air to the genre that wasn’t made by Capcom and Konami. The story of Isaac Clarke and his horrific adventure in the USS Ishimura to find his girlfriend was something that was completely different and new and the gameplay was something that still to this day no other game has ever done.

Fast forward to 2023 and Motion Studio brought this instant classic game to life in ways no one didn’t see coming. They took what made the original great and made it even better in every shape and size, made some huge quality-of-life changes to the game, and still made those necromorphs more scarier and horrific than before. The look and feel of Dead Space are on a whole new level and whoever missed out when it came out back in 2008 will be in for a treat for 2023.

Dead Space already has Game of the Year contender written all over it and hopefully, EA will let Motive Studio do Dead Space 2 and 3 and not let this slip threw their hands. Dead Space is now available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X.
