Return To Monkey Island Has a Release Date

What is there that hasn’t been said about the Monkey Island series, it’s a beloved series with a one-of-a-kind charm and gameplay that you rarely get to see now today. During Gamescom 2022 we saw an official trailer for Return To Monkey Island and we have a release date and that date is September 19 or better know as international talk like a pirate day. (witty move Ron Gilbert, witty move.)

Return To Monkey Island takes place right after the events of Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge and we don’t know what’s going to happen, but I know we are all in for a treat, especially fans of this beloved series.
As of now, the game will be released on the Nintendo Switch and PC on release and later on other platforms. I can’t wait to go back to Monkey Island and see old and new friends and have a wonderful time.
