October 13, 2008, was the day the gaming world was introduced to the of the most original sci-fi survival horror games ever to be released in the seventh generation of gaming will make its grand return next year.

EA and Motive Studio announced over the weekend that Dead Space Remake will be released on January 27, 2023, for PC, Playstation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The game will be a remake of the 2008 game that was made by EA Redwood Shores, who would later change their name to Visceral Games, and will be a from-the-ground-up remake ala Capcom’s Resident Evil 2 remake that was released back in 2019.

Dead Space follows Isaac Clarke, an engineer who with his crew goes to the USG Ishimura, a mining ship that has gone silent. Once inside the Ishimura, Clarke tries to find his girlfriend and at the same time fends for himself from the horrors that he finds within the Ishimura.

Dead Space became such a huge hit that 2 more games were released in 2011 and 2013, but sadly the series went silent after three until now.
