Ahoy Captain Cats here and today some big news from The Oscar.

According to The Wrap that a total of 14 international animated films made the list of trying to get on the final list for the best-animated film. Out of the 14 films, six came from Japan and eight from other parts of the world. Here are the names of all 14 animated films with where they are from:

“Accidental Luxuriance of the Translucent Watery Rebus” (Croatia)
“Bombay Rose” (India)
“Demon Slayer: The Movie: Mugen Train” (Japan)
“Dreambuilders” (Denmark)
“Earwig and the Witch” (Japan)
“Kill It and Leave This Town” (Poland)
“Lupin III: The First” (Japan)
“My Favorite War” (Latvia)
“Nos Ili Zagoyor Ne Takikh” (Russia)
“On-Gaku: Our Sound” (Japan)
“Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs” (South Korea)
“Ride Your Waves” (Japan)
“A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Faramageddon” (UK)
“A Whisker Away” (Japan)
