Ahoy captain cats here and today we are doing a two for one here with the best of TV and Cartoons in 2020.

The Best on Netflix was International TV
Netflix had some of the best new series in 2020 and most of them were international series. Most of these international series came from Europe, Asia, and South America with very different styles in terms of storytelling, environment, and actors and actresses that will take command of your attention.

The Rise of Adult Animation
With Bojack Horseman came to an end earlier this year, many thought it was going to be hard for another show that would fill that void. Many think it will be Rick and Morty, but I don’t think so and they shouldn’t. With series such as Primal, Harley Quinn, Helluva Boss, and Star Trek: Lower Decks, it’s safe to say we are seeing a rise in adult animation in a very good way.

New Players in the Streaming War
As of now, there was Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime which isn’t to say was bad, that was all you needed if you wanted to cut the cord. Now with NBC, CBS, Apple, HBO, and Disney all have their streaming services and each has their ups and downs, this makes this war a bit more interesting in a very good way. More new players with more options mean more choices to see what’s worth it or not.

Blood of Zeus
Netflix’s Blood of Zeus is one of the best on the streaming service. The series was done by the same animation studio that does Castlevania and it did what Castlevania hasn’t done so far, tell a great story with a captivating cast of characters. With the announcement of a season 2 is in the works, now is the perfect time to watch this series.

High Expectations for 2021
This year was very kind to TV and Cartoons, while some of our favorites have either said their goodbyes to use or were canceled without saying goodbye, this means 2021 has a lot of ground to make up for this. Honestly, I think 2021 will be a good year for both TV and cartoons as long the big wigs up on top don’t mess things up and bring what the people want to see.

Next week I’ll give my personal opinion on tv and cartoons in 2020.
