Ahoy Captain Cats here and today is another round of anime news round-up so let’s go!

Kyoto Animation Studio will finally release its first film after what happen to the studio last year and that is Violet Evergarden: The Movie. The film is the final chapter in this wonderful series about a girl named Violet Evergarden and how she tries to get used to life after being a soldier and a war that ended years ago. Once we are able to see the film ourselves we will give you a review of what we think about the final chapter.

Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid is coming back! Kyoto Animation Studio announced that the second season of everyone’s favorite dragon maid will be airing in 2021 and has a new name which is Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S. The S stands for “Super Supreme Second Life Start.”Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid was one of the surprises hit in 2017.

Another anime is making its grand return is the 2018 smash hit Golden Kamuy. It has been announced that the third series will be coming out during the Fall 2020 anime season. It will pick up where season 2 left off and fans all over the world cant wait to see how season 3 will outdo season 2.

Lastly one of the most beloved anime series of the 80s is making a come back and that series is Dragon Quest: The Adventures of Dai. In a recent promo video the reboot will be airing in Japan on October 10 of this year and as someone who grew up watching the original series, I can’t wait!
