Ahoy Captain Cats here and today we are going to review a new kind of love story from Sarah Andersen, the creator of Sarah Scribble, and that story is Fangs.

Fangs, like every love story, start with a man and a woman meeting up and love starts to bloom. Unlike every love story, this story is about a werewolf name Jimmy and a vampire name Elsie meeting up in a bar and from here on out its love but with a twist. From beginning to end this series has lots of wonderful moments from talking walks, how they talk about life, how they argue and kiss and make up is nothing but a joy to see.

Andersen’s artwork in Fangs is breathtaking, while it is in black and white it fits with the story and while each page has little to none dialog, the art and scenery elevates the tone in each panel and helps create inmate moments between Jimmy and Elsie.

In short, Fangs is one of the best new books out now and while it was first a webcomic series on Tapas, this book is a must-have for fans of Sarah Andersen’s work, odd rom-com stories, and everything spooky.
