Ahoy Captain Cats here and today we have another round of anime news, so let’s go!

Lupin The Third will be back for a new TV anime special. According to NTV that the new special is titled “Lupin The Third Prison of the Past.” The story for this one is that Lupin has to save a famous inmate that is in the kingdom of Druente. Soon after that, Lupin and the gang will be in its first-ever 3DCG film, which is called Lupin the Third THE FIRST.

Weekly Young Jump announced on Twitter that Jun Mayuzuki will launch a new manga series entitled Kowloon Generic Romance on November 7 of this year. Jun Mayuzuki’s last manga series was After the Rain and it was a runaway hit. After the Rain started in 2014 and ended in March of 2018, during its run a 12 episode series was aired on Fuji TV and a live-action film as well. If you have a chance look for After the Rain and see why it was a hit.

Toei Animation has announced via Twitter that Netflix will be showing the original Saint Seiya in North America, New Zealand, and Australia. Do yourself a favor and watch this in either Japanese or Spanish, you’ll thank me later.

Lastly, for many people who are wondering why I haven’t done a review of Beastar, it’s because Netflix won’t show it outside of Japan and pissed off a lot of people who are dying to watch this. Toho has released the intro to the series and it looks wonderful, all stop motion with a hint of CG.

So there you go that is your anime news round-up.
