Well its that time of the year again, the final days of summer. While this year has been an up and down for the world itself, the summer season was by far the worst. According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration or NOAA for short, that July was the hottest month for Earth.

If you think that was bad, The Guardian and FRANCE 24 English both reported that Iceland held a funeral for the first glacier to have died to climate change and that is sad. While most of us think that it is not urgent news, well your wrong because it does affect us all in the long run. The people of Iceland left a plaque that reads as so, which is titled “A Letter to the Future,” and it goes like this:

Ok is the first Icelandic glacier to lose its status as a glacier. In the next 200 years all our glaciers are expected to follow the same path. This monument is to acknowledge that we know what is happening and what needs to be done. Only you know id we did it. – The people of Iceland

the end of 2019 summer season comes to an end, the only song that comes to my mind every year is The Door’s Summer’s Almost Gone, but this time this song has lost its luster to what is happening to the world.
