Ahoy Captain Cats here and today we are going to look at the best trailers that came out of the San Diego Comic-Con 2019.

Films
IT Chapter Two  – This was one of the most talked-about trailers at SDCC. It looks fantastic and will be in cinemas on September 6 of this year.

Jay and Silent Bob Reboot  – a new entry in the “View Askewniverse” with Jay and Silent Bob on the road again to stop yet another film about them.

Top Gun:Maverick  – ABOUT DAMN TIME!

The Walking Dead Movie  – With the comic just ended not too long ago, and the tv series is heading into season 10, this is the right time to do this.

21 Bridges  – This action thriller has Chadwick Boseman staring as Andre Davis, an NYPD detective who puts NYC in lock-down to chase a gang of cop killers. It looks like a sleeper hit.

TV
Creepshow  – This reboot of the classic 1982 film that was directed by George A. Romero and written by Stephen King, is a lot more horror-based. By the way, this looks, I can’t wait for its premiere on September 26 on Shudder.

Netflix’s The Witcher  – Based on the Polish book series by Andrzej Sapkowski, this series is beloved all over the world with the help of video game company CD Project Red. If Netflix doesn’t deliver on this, who knows the backlash, they will get.

The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance  – This series is a prequel to the film The Dark Crystal by Jim Henson. Read on The Witcher for what would happen if they mess up on this as well.

Star Trek: Picard – YES!

Cartoons
Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling  – Everyone’s favorite 90’s Wallaby is back in an all-new special on Netflix. This special will be on Netflix on August 9 of this year, and I hope The B-52’s sing the theme song again!

Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus  – Our favorite invader is back and crazier than ever.

Steven Universe The Movie  – This is huge for both Cartoon Network and Rebecca Sugar. The movie takes place two years after season 5 and will be on Cartoon Network on September 2 of this year.

Rick and Morty Season 4  – Can’t wait for November.

Infinity Train – I saw the first episode at SDCC, and it was great! It’s a trip (no pun intended), and it has this Doctor Who meets anime sci-if roll into one. This series could be the next big thing if they don’t screw this one up.

DC’s Harley Quinn – Move over Young Justice, Harley Quinn just took your spot as the best cartoon on DCU.

There you go the best trailers that came out of SDCC 2019!
