Ahoy Captain Cats here and today we have a lot of gaming news so let’s start the show.

  • BlizzCon 2019 has its official dates and prices. According to BlizzCon press release, it will take place on November 1 and 2 at the Anaheim Convention Center. This year will be the 25th anniversary of Warcraft.
  • Soon after the announcement of its Plug and Play arcade stick, Capcom is in big trouble. According to Kotaku, The Capcom Home Arcade is using an open source software called FB Alpha, and under a license, it strictly forbids people to make a profit off of the software. As of now, no word from Capcom about this situation and whether or not they will still release the Capcom Home Arcade.
  • Sega has released another set of 10 games for the genesis mini and here are the games. Castle of Illusion and World of Illusion, Thunder Force 3, Super Fantasy Zone, Shinobi 3, Streets of Rage 2, Earthworm Jim, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Contra Hard Corps, and Landstalker. Sega is putting in a lot of thought in the Genesis mini line up, and it shows with 20 more games that need to be announced before its release date.
  • Konami will be releasing the Castlevania Anniversary Collection on May 16 of this year. The full game list is as follow: Castlevania 1-3 from the NES, Super Castlevania 4 from the SNES, Castlevania 1 and 2 from the Gameboy, Castlevania Bloodlines from the Genesis, and Kid Dracula from the Famicom. The game will be going for $20.
