Ahoy me mateys captain cats here, and today we are doing a cartoon roundup so here we go.

Sony announced the “Hotel Transylvania 4” has a released date. According to Cartoon Brew, the official release date for the film will be December 22, 2021. This will be the first time this series will have a holiday release date, the first two were released in September, and part three was released in the summer. We also don’t know if the whole cast and creative team is back or not.

Paramount will be releasing a “Hybrid” film of Clifford the Big Red Dog; a beloved children book series the film will be based on. According to Cartoon Brew, the film will be released on November 13, 2020, and Walt Becker will be directing it. Besides the film, a reboot of the kid’s tv series of the same name will be arriving on the small screen in the fall of this year. Amazon Prime and KPBS Kids will be showing the series side by side, and Studio Brown Bag Films will be the series.

Fans of Scooby-Doo rejoice because the series is making its way back to the big screen. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Scooby and the rest of Mystery Inc. will be in an animated film. The story for this film is that Mystery Inc will be teaming up with heroes from the Hanna-Barbera to save their world from Dick Dastardly, yes you read that, Dick Dastardly just went supervillain. The animated film has a May 2020 release date, and there is already a few names to this film, and they are:

  • Gina Rodriguez will voice Velma
  • Will Forte will voice Shaggy
  • Tracy Morgan will voice Captain Caveman
  • Frank Welker will voice Scooby, but no word if he will voice Freddy or not.
