Ahoy me mateys Captain Cats here and today there is so much anime news we are going to do a round table so here we go!

According to Anime News Network, the biographical anime special titled “When the Flower of Courage Blooms – The Story of Takashi Yanase and Anapanman” is based on the life of the manga creator and his beloved series. The anime is being directed by Tetsuro Kodama of The Bears’ School series fame and the script was made by Kazuho Hyodo of ReLIFE and Robot Girl Z fame as well. Bandai Namco made three announcements this past week. According to Social Game Info, first is that current president of Bandai Namco, Satoshi Oshita has announced his retirement and will take an advisory role for Bandai Namco Holding. The second announcement is that the company is promoting Yasuo Miyakawa, the current president of Bandai Namco anime studio, Sunrise. The last announcement is that Makoto Asanuma, Sunrise’s senior managing director will be the new president of Sunrise. All of the changes will take place on April 1 of this year.

The award-winning manga drama series Beastars will become an anime series. According to multiple sources, the anthropomorphic manga drama series will turn into an anime series, all we know that CG anime studio Orange who created the 2017 anime hit Land of the Lustrous. Beastars is created by Paru Itagaki and is published by Akita Shoten and is shown in the Weekly Shonen Champion and as of now 11 volumes have been released so far and is still in print. Lastly last years hit film Penguin Highway will be in the cinema on April 12. According to Eleven Arts, the film will be shown across the USA and on the 19 of April across Canada as well. You can see the trailer here, and once the film is out, we’ll try to do a review on it.
