Ahoy me mateys Captain Cats here. Earlier this year a fantastic anime movie came out and had many people talking, both anime fans and critics on maybe being nominated for an Oscar and that film is Mirai.

The film is about a spoiled young boy who just became a big brother and has to learn how to be one, with a little help from his future little sister. The film was first shown and was an official selection for the 2018 Cannes Film Festival, Annecy Film Festival, Melbourne International Film Festival, and the Sydney Film Festival. Now the film has caught the eyes of two more nominations in both the Annie Awards and the Golden Globes.

For the Annie Award, it is nominated for the following

For the Golden Globes

If you have the chance, go and watch this film and you can see why it is nominated in so many film festivals all over the world.
