Activision Blizzard has had an awful week last. Polygon reported that despite making a considerable profit, they had to lay off over 800 workers. This brings the question on what is going on over there and also if now is the time to bring up union talk into this industry. Another problem showed up to the company as well as Motherboard reported that WWE Hall of Famer Booker T is suing Activision Blizzard for using his likeness and character “GI Bro” for the game “Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.” This isn’t the first time they got sue, in 2014 Manuel Noriega, former Panama Dictator also sued the Call of Duty creators.
EVO JAPAN 2019 had just finished over the weekend, and one of the main things people were talking about was not the upsets, it was for something wrong. Polygon reported that during the Dead or Alive 6 showcase, it went off script when they stop the game, and it looks very inappropriate. Soon after that, the stream of EVO JAPAN went offline.
Lastly, MK 11 has a new trailer for another character, and it’s fan favorite Jade. She looks like she will be many players main to play with the zoning and a lot of her MK 2 & 9 move-set back. You can see the trailer here.
