Ahoy me mateys Captain Cats. This year was nothing but excellent all year around. With a few flops here and there, 2018 was one of the best year. Here is the 2018 film review.
The Year of Disney – $5,258,717,701 is what Disney made this year with just four films. Disney also has four films in the top 10 highest grossing films of 2018, and maybe Black Panther may win the big one for them. Disney has already set up to win 2019 as well with Captain Marvel and Avenger: Endgame.
Venom had showed critics can be wrong – Critics had nothing but dislike for this film, but the mob says otherwise. The film was the 5h highest grossing film of 2018 with $852,745,407. It goes to show that even critics are wrong and have no idea what they are talking about regarding film.
Films that Flop – Solo, a Star War Story, The Predator, Robin Hood, A Wrinkle in Time and Happytime Murders flop bad this year. What surprised many the most that Solo marks the first ever Star Wars film to flop ever. First time for everyone.
Alfonso Cuaron’s Roma is the film Netflix has been waiting for –Roma has the critics buzzing with the movie since winning at the 75th Venice International Film Festival. With Netflix backing this film up and Alfonso Cuaron already won Best Director in the following award:
