Well, I didn’t see this one coming and it looks like they are doing another reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. This past Monday, Paramount Pictures released the official trailer to our heroes in a half-shell new look with Seth Rogen on this as well the official name is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem and it has two things going for it and they are the look and cast.
The look and feel from the trailer is an updated version of Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird’s original version of TMNT but with the heart of the original TMNT animated series that ran for ten seasons. Another thing it has going is also is the cast and what a cast they have. Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Nicolas Cantu, Brady Noon Jackie Chan, Ayo Edebiri, Seth Rogen, John Cena, Hannibal Buress, Rose Byrne, Ice Cube, Natasia Demetriou, Giancarlo Esposito, Post Malone, Paul Rudd, and Maya Rudolph are all in this film.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem will be in theaters on August 4 of this year.
