Europe Comics and Izneo are closing down their online storefronts

Well some sad news to report from Europe as Europe Comics and Izneo announced they are closing their storefronts. Izneo is a French-based online storefront that offered webcomics, manga, American and European comics, and graphic novels in a single place. In an official statement on their soon-to-be-closed website is the following:

“We regret to inform you that izneo will be closing the store and membership as of January 31st. As we are restructuring to provide you with an even better reading experience, you will no longer have access to the English store.” – Izneo team

In February they will relaunch their website but with no English at all and there is no word on any kind of price change and if it region based as well. Europe Comics also left a statement as well with the following:

“As of January 2023, we’re ending all our consumer-facing activities (website, social media, newsletters, events). But the adventure isn’t over! We’ll continue to release several books every month, so you’ll still be able to find new Europe Comics titles through your preferred online retailer. Our heartfelt thanks for your lasting enthusiasm that has kept us going for the past seven years. Keep reading and spreading the love of European comics!” – The EUROPE COMICS Team

Europe Comic has been around since 2015 and developed into a 13- partner pan-European alliance and released many wonderful classics such as Miss October, Murena, Blacksad, The Egles of Rome, Djinn, and Anastasia to name a few.
