The 2022 Will Eisner Awards Nominees

It was announced over the weekend that the San Diego Comic-Con International has released the nominees for this year’s Will Eisner Awards or The Eisners for short.

This year DC Comics and Image are leading the pack of most nominees with 15 and 14 respectfully. Rounding out the nominees are Fantagraphics, IDW, and Top Shelf with 11 each, Viz Media with 8, Marvel Comics with 7, Abrams, Dark Horse, and Mariner Books with 5, Magnetic Press and Oni with 4 each, and 15 companies with 2 nominations and another 37 with just 1 nomination.

This year’s Eisner Awards will be in person this year and will be held during this year’s San Diego Comic-Con on July 22 on its usual Friday night and we will be there.
