All Of Us Are Dead Review

Ahoy Captain Cats here and today we are going to review the zombie apocalypse horror fest that is All of Us Are Dead.

The series is based on a Korean web-comic “Now at Our School” by Joo Dong-geun and after reading it all I can see they did a fine job bringing this series to life. The series takes place mostly at a Korean high school and out of the blue the zombie apocalypse happens at the school and we see the fallout of the whole situation, for better or for worse.

We do see a lot of gore and death in this series, but also see a lot of human emotions and conversations that sometimes either hit or miss depending on the situation that is going on at that moment. A good example of this is two of the main characters are talking about love while trying to figure out a way to survive a zombie attack at the same time, moments like these make me ask myself “really?”.

Besides that and a few other things such as pacing and some of the characters being either too bland or too predictable, All of Us Are Dead is a great watch. Keep in mind that there are 12 episodes and the run time for each episode is just around the one-hour mark, It is one of those series you can’t sit and watch in one day. If you do enjoy this series I would highly recommend watching Kingdom and remember this series is not for little ones and people who can’t handle this kind of content.
