Pet Human Review

Ahoy Captain Cats here and today we are going to review David Guy Levy’s newest graphic novel that is one of the best books you need to read in 2021 and that graphic novel is Pet Human.

The story follows Buster, a human pet to Blorg and Pruni, an alien couple who adopted him to their loving home. Throughout the book, you see how Buster affected the lives of Blorg and Pruni’s for the better and see a bond that one would have with their pets. David Guy Levy outdid himself here with the story, simple, to the point yet fresh and understanding. Levy did a wonderful job here and it shows.

The story here is wonderful and it has very little to no dialog used here and it works perfectly here. The interaction with Buster and his alien owners is wonderful. If anyone who owns a pet and reads this will understand the amount the emotions and loyalty that one’s pet has to its owner. Alex Haywood’s artwork is on full display and the art is out of this world gorgeous and fits right into this story. By the time you finish reading this, you will not only end up in tears but also go give your pet and loved ones a huge hug and tell them how much you love them.
