Ahoy Captain Cats here and today we are going to look at what good came out of video games in 2021.
Gaming has been interesting this year in both good and bad ways. Last week we saw how bad it was, especially with companies with their work culture and such. Besides all that we saw the rise of Riot Games with the thanks to Arcane and the success of Wild Rifts. We also saw a lot of more interesting games that came out this year with the likes of Cyber Shadow, Cotten Reboot!, Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection, Yakuza: Like a Dragon, It Takes Two, Psychonauts 2, Skatebird, and Tetris Effect: Connected.
We also saw some new hardware with the likes of Atari VCS, Evercade VS, and the Analogue Pocket which are all overlooked and very great. We also saw the like of Netflix getting into the video game market with a mobile app, a lot more classic games are being released, affordable pinball machines, and of course the announcement of G4 coming back from the dead. After seeing what is coming in 2022 it looks like video games are going to have another good year.
