Chainsaw Man Anime Series Announced

Ahoy Captain Cats here and today huge news that came out of MAPPA 10-year anniversary event that took place over the weekend.

The huge announcement was that they will be working on the anime adaptation of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s manga hit series Chainsaw Man. The manga series ran from December 2018 till it ended in December 2020. The anime series will cover the first part of the manga and not spoil any of it but it is one hell of a read and ride.

There hasn’t been any word of when it will be released, but rumors around the anime scene are suggesting a fall 2021 or winter 2022 release due to other prior commitments in terms of the other series and films such as takt op Destiny, the second part of the final season of Attack on Titan, and MAPPA’s first original movie Alice and Therese’s Illusion Factory.
