What The Hell Is Going On With The Live-Action Powerpuff Girls Series

Ahoy Captain Cats here and today we are going to look at what the hell is going on with the live-action Powerpuff Girls TV series.

According to numerous reports and a leaked script that yes like the rest of the internet who have read it, and yes it is so so bad, the CW is reshooting the whole pilot and redoing it from the ground up. It brings up the question of what the hell is going on and why this could be a huge flop upon release. I wonder what is going on there at the CW, they think they can strike gold again if they did this like Riverdale?

If you need a refresher, the Powerpuff Girls was an animated series that was on Cartoon Network from 1998 till 2004 and was one of the hottest cartoons that came out during that time. The series had a huge fan base that in 2006 Toei Animation made an anime series based on the Powerpuff Girls and ran for a whole year and was called Powerpuff Girls Z and it was a hit as well.

If the CW is serious about redoing this live-action series, they need to do this right and maybe bring in the series creator Craig McCracken to oversee what’s going on here.
