Konami To Outsource Some Of Its IPs

Ahoy Captain Cats here and today some news about Konami.

It was first reported by Video Game Chronicle that Bloober Team is working on a “famous horror series” and that series is Silent Hill. Not only that but there are rumors that they might do the same for Metal Gear and Castlevania, maybe even Contra. Now this brings up a few questions for example

Did Konami just give up on creating video games?
Why is Konami doing this?
What about the other IPs under the Konami banner?
Is this a sign of Konami leaving the gaming industry?

This raises more questions than answers about what the hell is going there. Well if the rumors are true, we could see a new Metal Gear by Kojima soon? Well, we can only dream.
