The Ubisoft Montreal “Hostage Situation” Explained

Ahoy Captain Cats here and today I’m going to do my best to explain the whole situation that happened at Ubisoft Montreal over the weekend. Just to let you know we are explaining what we know so far with facts and actual statements and not speculations.

This all started with a phone call to Montreal police that led to the police heading to Ubisoft Montreal’s offices. After doing all the necessary protocols in a Hostage Situation, it was later reported via a press release by the police that “no threat has been detected and no injuries are reported.” Soon after this, Ubisoft released a statement via Twitter telling the public that everything is all under control.

While everyone can write this whole situation up as a hoax call, it’s still a head-scratcher to think why someone would do this to a company. If any new news comes up we will try our best to update you all.
