Josee, The Tiger and the Fish Is Pick To Close Busan International Film Festival

Ahoy Captain Cat here and today some good news for anime film fans.

The 25th Busan International Film Festival will take place in the Metropolitan City of Busan from October 21 till October 30 and the film to close out the event is the anime film Josee, The Tiger and the Fish. The film is based on a novel of the same name by Japanese author Seiko Tanabe, who past away last year.

This is a huge honor, especially the main focus for the Busan IFF is to introduce new films, actors, actresses, and directors from different Asian markets to Asian countries throughout all of Asia. The BIFF was first introduced back in 1996 and over the years has introduced so many new films, stars, and directors throughout Asia and to the world.
