What needs to happen at E3 this year!

Ahoy Me Mateys Captain Cats here! E3 is a few weeks away, and as of now we all kind of have an idea who’s going to show what, but there is still a lot of question left unanswered. Today I’ll throw my two bits in this and say what needs to happen at this years E3 and remember mateys these are my opinions

Nintendo

With the success of the Switch’s launch and the games, they released the sky is the limit for the big N or is it? Nintendo needs to showcase they have plans for the switch beyond this and next year. They also need to showcase the “pay plan” they want to release sometime this year and explain. Besides these two significant issues and show handheld games, it wouldn’t hurt them to show up and do a live show!

Microsoft

I’m going to make this plain and simple; they need to show up and blow everyone away! They are far behind Sony, and with Nintendo not far behind them, Microsoft needs to go all out this year. Show us all a new Halo or Gears of War, introduce a new IP that will be EXCLUSIVE to your system! Maybe showcase a game that people were waiting for saying oh I don’t know….NEW FABLE GAME!!! Do something this year!

Sony

After the announcement that the PlayStation 4 is entering the final phase of its current life cycle and rumors of the PS5 being in development, I wouldn’t be surprised if Sony drops the bomb on this. If they make that announcement, and I’m saying a BIG IF they do, they just hands down won E3 with that alone. If not then Sony needs to show what they have coming up soon for the PS4 and maybe just maybe put the Vita to rest, unless they announce Vita 2.0 or new handheld. Sony needs to address the PSN and the VR as well, not to mention the games as well!

Besides the Big 3, there are a few things I’d like to see be announce at this years E3

Death Stranding

Beyond Good and Evil 2

A new NetherRealm fighting game (please MK XI)

Price and release date for NeoGeo Mini

An announcement of any kind for a Sega Saturn and Dreamcast mini

Dreamcast 2 (wishful thinking)

A new Elder Scroll game

An update on the Final Fantasy 7 remake

StarCraft Ghost and Half-Life 3 (doesn’t hurt to dream)
