Ahoy Captain Cats here and today we are going to look at what we know so far from last week’s surprise announcement of the Sega Astro City Mini.
The original Astro City (AC for short) was created by Sega and was released in Japan arcades in 1993 and became the standard to arcade machines in Japan for many years to come and with newer versions such as the Astro City 2 and New Astro City which came out in 1993 and 1994 respectively.
The AC mini will be 1/6th-scale of its original size and will have a built-in 4.8-inch diagonal LCD screen, an eight-way digital switches, an HDMI output, two USB inputs, a headphone jack, and a USB power input.
The AC Mini will have 36 arcade games built-in and as of now only 10 were announced and they are

The AC Mini will be available as of now only in Japan at the end of the year for ¥12,800, which is about $119. Once Sega will release the rest of the game line-up and if they will bring the AC Mini over to the west and the rest of the world we will let you know first.
