Sweet Tooth Heads to Netflix

Ahoy Captain Cats here and today some good news for fans of Jeff Lemire modern classic series Sweet Tooth.

According to a press release by Netflix, Sweet Tooth was given the green light and will have Iron Man himself, Robert Downey Jr. as Executive Producer and his production company Team Downey, with Warner Bros. Television and Netflix has ordered eight one-hour episodes.

The new Netflix series is based on the comic of the same name that was published by Vertigo Comics from 2009 till 2013 with a total of 40 issues. The series is about a boy named Gus who is half human and half deer and is left to survive in a post-apocalyptic world and on his journey, he meets a few people on the way and during all of this try to learn what it means to live with an ending very few comic series can pull off.

No word yet on when production will begin and once we hear something we will let you know.
