“In regards to Comic Market 98, from the perspective of preventing the spread of the new type of coronavirus infection (COVID-19), future trends regarding the government’s request for voluntary control of large-scale events issued on February 26 and March 10, etc. In addition, it may be necessary to judge that it cannot be held as usual, including cancellation or postponement, due to instructions or requests from various related parties.” – Comic Market Preparatory Committee Co-Representative Kahoru Yasuda, Yoshiyuki Kazutani, Koichi Ichikawa
The Comic Market Committee has already rescheduled the event three months from its usual summer dates for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, which that is for now still for the time being. We will keep you up to date on this if they make a final decision on C98.
