Ahoy Captain Cats here and its time for another round for anime news round-up so let’s go!

Dark Horse Comic has revealed a new product for your bookshelf, especially if you’re a fan of Kentaro Miura’s ongoing dark fantasy series Berserk. The limited-edition bookends are based on the series protagonist Gut’s sword, Dragon Slayer. There are only 1,000 are made and they going on sale this summer for around $200, you can pre-order them here.

Mobile Suit Gundam is still rocking its 40th anniversary with a new set of collectible mobile suits each representing each team in the J.League, Japan’s Pro Soccer League. A total of 20 models will go on sale on February 8 of this year and no word yet if they will be available to buy outside of Japan.

Lastly, Netflix has released a trailer for the upcoming new anime series Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045. All of the original Japanese voice actors from the previous SAC will be back, including Osamu Saka as Daisuke Aramaki. The newest installment of the SAC series will have two 12 episode seasons with Production I.G. And Sola Digital Arts working together. Let us hope this series lives up to its name.
