Ahoy Captain Cats here and today we are going to talk about two arcade games that were and still are painfully hard till this day and they are Magician Lord and NAM-1975

Magician Lord was released on April 26, 1990, in Arcades and the Neo Geo AES home console. This side-scrolling action platform game was developed by Alpha Denshi, who would change their name to ADK in 1993 before closing in 2003 and was published by SNK. The game was notoriously hard due to everything coming after you and the level of difficulty increases in each of the 8 levels. The boss fights were crazy, the levels and character designs are beautiful and the music was marvelous.

NAM-1975 was also released on April 26, 1990, and the game was developed and published by SNK. This shooting gallery lets you play as Silver and Brown, two soldiers who were recalled back to Vietnam in the final months of the Vietnam War in the summer of 1975. Silver and Brown must go and save Dr. Muckly and his daughter. The game was hard, very very hard, from each level, the never-ending onslaught of enemies and the boss fights, especially the final boss NAM was no joke.

Both games still stand the test of time and have created a cult following with fans of these types of games and SNK hardcore fans alike. If you are looking for a challenge for a weekend, look for either or game and don’t say I didn’t warn you while you break your controller.
