Is Okami Making A Comeback With A Sequel?

Ahoy Captain Cats here and today we have interesting news/rumor that happened over the weekend. Ikumi Nakamura, the former developer of GhostWire: Tokyo just teased some big news with Hideki Kamiya, the original game director of Okami.

According to her Twitter account Nakamura states the following:

“Okami is going to be back! We want to make Okami sequel and fans are looking forward to it too. You guys want to see Kamiya’s Okami again, right everyone? I want to work on it too!” – Ikumi Nakamura

Okami was developed by Clover Studio and was released on April 20, 2006, to critical acclaim and numerous awards. It was originally released for the PS2 then ported to the Wii, PS3, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Sadly Clover Studio closed its doors in March of 2007 and only had a handful of games under its belt, Okami is its shining star.
