Bethesda look like it got themselves into trouble. According to Eurogamer the upcoming expansion for The Elder Scrolls Online entitled “Elsweyr” that a good amount of the content was taken from a D&D Adventure that was published back in 2016 and that adventure was “The Black Road.” Since then Bethesda has taken down the content and released a statement on the game’s Twitter page stating:
“We have pulled a preciously shared ESO tabletop RPG adventure while we investigate the source. Thank you to those who reached out with concerns.” – Bethesda
The war on Loot Boxes is on as both Democrats and Republicans agree to ban them. According to GameSpot a bill is being introduced by US Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) called “The Protecting Children from Abusive Games Act” in which it would ban “Pay to Win” micro-transactions in video games that would target to kids.
During the PlayStation State of Play online broadcast, three games made people talk and take notice. First is Predator: Hunting Grounds from IllFonic, the same studio that created the Friday the 13th multiplayer game that sadly died, due to the outcome of a copyrights dispute last year. The other game that was shown was the remake of a PlayStation one classic Medievil. the game looks great and feels like a new game as well, not only that, but it also has a release date of the 25 of October of this year.
Lastly, a new trailer for the Final Fantasy 7 Remake come out of nowhere and have the net talking. The last time anyone had heard from this game was back in 2015, almost five years and Square Enix said there is more to come in June, so maybe at E3 more news and perhaps a release date?
