Ahoy Captain Cats here and today we are going to look at Akira Toriyama’s Manga Theater and tell you what we think.
Akira Toriyama’s Manga Theater is 626 pages of all of his early works that would later go one influence two of his much-beloved series of all time and they are Dr. Slump and Dragon Ball. We also get to see how both his artwork and storytelling change over time.
All of these one-shot stories that he did in this book are from the years of 1979-1994 and you can see where some of his now-famous characters and influences came from during these years. For fans of his works and mangas, collectors will love this book while manga readers may not like it due to being outdated and not modern.
Akira Toriyama’s Manga Theater is available now and I would recommend anyone to pick this one up.
