Ahoy Captain Cats here and just like that Mortal Kombat is back in full swing.
Over the weekend Warner Bros released the trailer for Mortal Kombat and it looks fantastic! This reboot can be a start of a new film franchise and make all of us forget the Mortal Kombat back in the 90s. In case you want to know what the reboot is about here is the premise:
A washed-up mixed martial arts fighter named Cole Young is unaware of his hidden lineage or why he is being hunted down by Sub-Zero of the Lin-Kuei clan of assassins. Concerned for the safety of his family, he seeks out a clique of fighters that were chosen to defend Earthrealm in a high-stakes battle against the forces of Outworld.
The film will be released in both theater and HBO Max on April 16 of this year and we will have a full review once it is released.
