Video Game News Round-Up

Ahoy Captain Cats here and today we have another round of video game news so let us get going

Last week Microsoft had its first of many gameplay reveal which will be called “Xbox 20/20.” This Nintendo Direct-style video series will be a monthly series that will showcase game trailers, game pass, and more. With E3 cancel due to the Corona Virus and pretty much dead in the water till next year, it looks like the Big 3 will have to take matters to their own hand. Side note last week’s gameplay reveal showcase suck big time and made me ask “Seriously, is this the best you can do?”

Last week NetherRealm Studios showed off a new trailer for Mortal Kombat 11 with a new full DLC expansion titled “Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath.” The DLC takes place right after the events of MK 11 and will introduce new playable characters, stages, bring back classic stages and friendships. We also see Robocop being the first guest character.

Lately today huge news came out of Tokyo Game Show or TGS. In a press release, TGS announced that they will cancel the “Physical” event due to preventing the Corona Virus spreading and are already planning an “online” TGS. TGS will still be held on September 24 till the 27 this year. They also stated that more information will be announced on their official website and another press release will be out later this month.
