The 2018 Year in Review: Anime

Ahoy me mateys Captain Cats here. The 2018 anime season was great and had a lot of hits with a few misses along the way. Today we are going to break down by each season what were the best anime that season had and didn’t had and make out pick for anime of the season and year.

Winter 2018 Season– This season had a lot going for it and it didn’t disappoint. A lot of great series came out of this season and with a few that were bad. Here is the best and worst of this season:

Spring 2018 Season– The best season out of all 2018. A lot of new series, a return of a classic series and a contender for anime of the year was here. Here is the best and worst of this season:

Summer 2018 Season– This season was by far the weakest of the year. We did see some great anime, but at the same time, there wasn’t that bad anime at all. Here are the best of summer 2018:

Fall 2018 Season– This season pick up the slack of summer season and boy it did. Great series came out of this season and also a few duds. Here is the best and worst of Fall 2018:

Megalo Box & Pop Team Epic

Both of these series stand out and always stayed with me all year long. It was tough to pick either or, and that is why they are both anime of the year.

This year was great for anime and let us see 2019 can keep it going.
