Ahoy me mateys Captain Cats here! Here is some of the anime news that came out of NYCC 2018
- A new Mobile Suit Gundam is on its way. According to Anime News Network during the NYCC anime Fest Panel, Sunrise, the company behind the MS Gundam series that dates back to the very first MS Gundam series in 1979, announced that they will show a new MS Gundam series titled ‘Mobile Suit Gundam NT’ at Anime NYC, which takes place November 16-18. You can see a small trailer of Gundam NT here.
- Cowboy Bebop celebrates its 20th anniversary with a panel at NYCC. According to Space.com the panel had both the English and Japanese voice actors and people who work on the series.
- Anime New Network reported that Viz Media made the announcement that Megalo Box will be aired on Adult Swim Toonami block starting December 8. If you haven’t seen this anime series, watch it when it is on Toonami on the 8th of December, it’s one of the very few anime’s I can say can be called THE anime series of 2018.
